My name is Cassandra Douglas and I am pursuing a MA in Museum Studies at Appalachian State University. I also received my Bachelor’s from ASU. My focus is primarily on workers’ responses to labor laws and practices in company towns of 19th century America.
My family and I moved around the country while I was growing up and we visited museums and historic sites across the continental U.S. This ignited my interest and passion for history. I still enjoy traveling where I can to see how museums are interpreting history.
My resume is below, at the bottom of this page.
Outside of history I enjoy hiking with my dog (Finn), painting, and crochet!
